AMSI Winter School 2026 on Geometric Analysis

AMSI Winter School is an advanced training program for postgraduate students, early-career researchers, and industry professionals held annually around a central theme selected from emerging national and global research priorities in the mathematical sciences. Each two-week program provides a scaffolded, graduate-accessible introduction to current research developments, delivered by leading national and international experts

To enhance the experience, a variety of supplementary activities—including social events, specialised lectures, participant presentations, and problem sessions—will be included in the program, fostering networking and collaboration among attendees.

The 2026 AMSI Winter School will be held from 6–17 July 2026 at The University of Queensland, Brisbane, and delivered in hybrid format to enable both in-person and online participation. Postgraduate students and early-career researchers will explore Geometric Analysis, a field at the intersection of differential geometry and partial differential equations, through lectures and tutorials led by:
