Mathematics for Machine Learning (Math4ML)

About Math4ML

Mathematics for Machine Learning (Math4ML) is a Special Interest Group that brings together researchers working at the intersection of mathematics and machine learning. It aims to promote foundational research, foster collaboration, and strengthen connections between mathematicians, statisticians, and computer scientists contributing to the theory and practice of modern machine learning.

Our Objectives:

  1. To foster and promote research and collaboration in the intersection of mathematics and machine learning.
  2. To provide a forum for discussing foundational mathematical challenges arising from modern machine learning and AI, including theory, methodology, and practice.
  3. To encourage interactions between mathematicians, statisticians and computer scientists and promote inter-disciplinary dialogue bridging these disciplines.
