AMSI BioInfoSummer is returning in 2024 as a three-day conference hosted by the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Mathematical Analysis of Cellular Systems (MACSYS) and Melbourne Integrative Genomics (MIG) at the University of Melbourne Parkville campus from Tuesday 3 – Thursday 5 December. Unlock Biological Secrets And Interpret Big Data
Bioinformatics is a constantly evolving interdisciplinary field that develops methods and tools for understanding biological data, particularly large and complex data sets.
AMSI BioInfoSummer is a national training and networking event that brings together advanced undergraduate and postgraduate students, early-career researchers and professionals from mathematics, statistics, data science, biology, biomedicine and computer and life sciences to explore current bioinformatics research and developments under the following themes:
- Whole-cell modelling
- Machine Learning and AI for Genomics
- Emerging Technologies
Hosted by the University of Melbourne from 3–5 December, participants will develop their bioinformatics skills, national networks and employability!
Applicants are strongly encouraged to attend in person to maximise their experience, however, can opt to join online. Please note not all elements of the program are available remotely.
