The Role
We are looking to appoint an outstanding mathematician who is internationally renowned (if appointed as a Professor) or whose career trajectory is indicating being internationally renowned (if appointed as a Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor) to strategically strengthen our research excellence in one of our current areas of strength, including in analysis of partial differential equations, dynamics, waves and mathematical modelling. The candidate will provide leadership and mentorship within the School for the ongoing development of applied mathematics, leveraging their standing in the field to provide a focal point for the future development of the mathematics discipline at Macquarie University.
