The School of Mathematics at Monash University invites applications for the position of Research Fellow in Discrete Mathematics.

A Level-A Research Fellow is expected to contribute towards the research effort of the University and to develop their research expertise through the pursuit of defined projects relevant to the particular field of research. In particular, the successful applicant will work within the Monash Discrete Mathematics Research group, and will perform research on the topic of graph product structure theory, as specified in the 2024 ARC Discovery Project led by Professor David Wood. The main tasks are the discovery of new mathematical results in this field, and writing up these discoveries in research papers for scholarly publication.
