Level: A
Duration: 3 years
Closing date: 26 July 2024
We are seeking a highly motivated Post-Doctoral Fellow to work on chemical reaction networks at the University of Melbourne. In this role, you will have the opportunity to employ advanced mathematical and computational techniques, such as graph theory, computational algebraic geometry, chemical reaction network theory, and computational topology. We look forward to making a major scientific breakthrough in new analytical techniques for constructing and analyzing complex biohemical reaction networks, and will work together to produce WORLD-FIRST whole cell models (WCMs).
The successful applicant will join the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the Mathematical Analysis of Cellular Systems (MACSYS), the world’s largest focused research initiative in mathematical biology at the University of Melbourne. If you’re passionate about mathematical biology and eager to make a significant impact, we’d love to hear from you!
