We are looking for academics who align with the research directions in the Department and contribute actively to the School’s teaching activities across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The Department of Applied Mathematics has particular research strengths in Mathematical Modelling and Biomathematics, Computational Mathematics, Dynamical Systems and Integrability, Geophysical Fluid Dynamics, Nonlinear Phenomena, Optimisation, Fractional Calculus, and Stochastic Modelling.
