The International Congress on Mathematical Education is the largest international conference on mathematics education in the world. Organised under the auspices of the International Commission on Mathematical Instruction, this quadrennial event explores the current state and trends in mathematics education research and the practice of mathematics teaching at all levels from across the world.
The 15th International Congress on Mathematics Education (ICME-15) will be held 7–14 July 2024 at International Convention Centre in Sydney, Australia.

One of the many focal points of the 15th International Congress on Mathematical Education is to create a inclusive event at which people who are passionate about mathematics and statistics education can come together and connect with like-minded colleagues from around the globe to create lasting local, regional, and global legacies in our field.
Our team has been planning to ensure that this congress incorporates initiatives that align with our inclusive and sustainable goals. Legacy alongside Indigenous themes are at the forefront of planning. The Local Organising Committee is excited to share the unique culture and history that Australian First Nations have to offer.
